Hey there my sassy friends! Did you all have the best week?! We celebrated Thanksgiving with family and friends...and it was so very nice! Yep...no doubt about it...I am blessed!!
OK...let's get to this week's challenge at Sassy Cheryl's Challenge Blog! I do believe that, once again, I'm your hostess for this week's challenge...and I've selected for this week's theme...

Winter!

Now...here's the deal...my sister, Dee, needed a Christmas card for her eldest son. She specifically requested something with a "stocking full of coal"...and since Christmas generally happens in Wintertime here in the Northern Hemisphere...well, here's my sassy little card for this week...

For this week's card, I chose one of Sassy Cheryl's cutest digi images...this one's called "Stocking Full of Coal" and he's available at Sassy Cheryl's Digis HERE. In case you also have a young lady who needs a stocking filled with coal, Sassy Cheryl has this same image as a little girl HERE! hehehe!!

Here's a peek at the inside...I made a good sized pocket...perfect for gift cards and/or mass quantities of money!! Bwahahahaha!!

Here's my card "recipe"...

DPs: Bo Bunny "Blitzen"

And now it's time to pop on over to Sassy Cheryl's Challenge Blog to check out all the fun creations by my talented and always "sassy" DT "sassettes"!! Then, we'd love for you to come join the fun! Just remember to follow this week's "Winter" theme. You don't even have to use a Sassy Cheryl image...tho we love when you do!! Oh, and...don't forget to link your finished project to this week's challenge...because one lucky participant (selected at random) will win a $5.00 digi credit to spend at Sassy Cheryl's Digis Online Store HERE!!

Yep...getting ready for a houseful for Thanksgiving dinner...including my amazzzzingly cool 92 year-old mother-in-law! She could very well be the coolest mom and Nana in the entire world!! I'm so blessed...in so many ways!! I hope my dinner guests are able to say they're blessed after having to eat my cooking! bwahahaha! My plan is to keep the wine flowing so they won't necessarily notice the food! LOL!! OK...enough turkey talk...let's talk about my newest Sugar Nellie card, shall we?

So...here's the deal...I decided to finally ink up this fabulous Leanne Ellis stamp (I've had it for more than a year! arrggh!!) Sugar Bowl project!

Hi again, my darlins! Yep...it's time for another fabulous challenge at Mo's DP2 Challenge Blog! And...I do believe that I am your hostess again this week! I was thinking that, now that my trees are almost naked, it may be time to start thinking about winter!! So...this weeks theme at Mo's is...

Winter!

I went with "Christmas & Santa" instead of snowwww (I just can't handle snow yet!! hehe!) and chose this absolutely adorable little Mo Manning image called "Guilty May"... although Mo could have named her "Guilty Mia"...because this cutie looks so much like our youngest granddaughter, Mia Laren! (You may recall, Mia is the one who thinks you magically get a boyfriend AND a new car for your 16th birthday!) Well...our sweet little Mia is frequently in trouble for one thing or another! I must admit...that child just tickles me! hehehe!! So...here's my little card...

You can find "Guilty May" HERE at Mo's online store.

Here's my card "recipe"...

So...now it's time for you to pop on over to Mo's DP2 Challenge Blog HERE so you can check out the gorgeous projects by my talented DT sistahs!! Then, please join the fun by making and entering your own Mo Manning challenge project! Just remember to use one (or more) of Mo Manning's images (you can find them in Mo's online stores HERE and HERE)...and follow this week's theme: WINTER! Who knows, you may be chosen (by that Random.Org thingie) to receive a $5.00 shopping spree at Mo's online store.

Well...I won't think about that now...I'll think about that tomorrow! (Hehehe!! That's my Scarlet O'Hara impersonation...you know, from "Gone With the Wind"! Fiddle-de-dee! LOL!) OK...enough of my silliness...let's talk about this fortnight's challenge over at the Sugar Bowl! Yep...we're on Challenge #72! And our very own Sugar Mama, Gayle, has given us this fabulous sketch to follow...

...with "Ice & Snow" brrrrrr...as our optional theme! And here's my card!

I chose a cute little Sugar Nellie stamp called "Crystal Flakes." Isn't she completely adorable?! This darlin' comes from Sugar Nellie's "Home Grown Collection" and you can find her HERE at Funky Kits! Once again, I opted to make a "shaker card"...this one in the form of a fun little snowglobe!!

Here's my simple little card "recipe"...

Let's Stump Sassy Cheryl!!

Hello my sweet friends!! So...I just have to tell ya, I had the best time in Las Vegas this past week!! My handsome hubby surprised me with tickets to see Rod Stewart! Ol' Rod is in his mid- to late-60s...and he's still HOT!! Yep...DH and I had the best time in Vegas...and now we're home safe and sound...gearing up for Thanksgiving next week! YIKES!!!! But first...

We've got a bit of "sassiness" happening over at Sassy Cheryl's Challenge Blog this week! It seems that our very own Sassy Cheryl actually believes that she can tell which one of her DT members created a card without even looking at the watermark. Really, Cheryl? REALLY??? So.....this week, the Sassy DT ladies are putting Miz Cheryl to the test! We've created these fabby cards WITHOUT watermarks! hehehe!

And...here's a close-up of just one of this week's Sassy Cheryl's DT's cards. Now...I ask you..."Is this card one of mine?" Hmmmmm! Maybe...or...maybe not? What'cha think?!

Now...here's the fun part!! YOU get to play along in this week's super fun challenge! Here's how...
  1. Make a card, tag, or paper project and link to the cute Frog Link thingie.
  2. Leave a comment on Sassy Cheryl's Challenge Blog HERE saying whether you think Sassy Cheryl will guess all of the designers' cards correctly.
  3. If you say 'yes' and she actually guesses correctly...then you get credit for a second entry in our random drawing. That's a "two for one" deal!!
  4. If you think Sassy Cheryl is going to "miss the mark" and will guess incorrectly, just say so in your comment!
Fun  and simple, huh? And soooooo worth playing along! All you have to do is say "yes" or"no" in the comment section at Sassy Cheryl's Challenge Blog. If you guess correctly, and play along in our challenge, you might just be the lucky random winner of a $5.00 gift certificate to Sassy Cheryl's Digi Online Store ...in addition to our regular random pick from challenge entries! Yep...that's right...you get TWO chances to win!! Check out all the details at our challenge blog HERE.

Thanks so much for stopping by, my lovelies!! Now...let the Sassy Crafting and "guessing" COMMENCE!!

Hey there, my sweet friends! Well...I'm back from visiting the kids and grandkiddos in AZ...and let me tell ya, I'm still exhausted!! hehehe!! But not too exhausted! In fact, I'm pretty jazzed about this week's challenge at Mo's DP2 Challenge Blog! Why? Well...your hostess for this week's challenge is none other than yours truly! hehehe! And I've chosen as our challenge theme...

Fancy Folds

So, since I'm well into my Christmas card-making-mode, I selected this adorable little Mo Manning image called "Noelle Bearing Gifts"... you can find her HERE at Mo's online store. My clever DT sistah, Sheila, taught me how to print my images a bit lighter, giving a "watercolor" effect...which, I am really liking alot! Thanks Sheila, you da bomb, girlfriend!

As you can see, my "fancy fold" is actually a "Criss Cross" card! I think it qualifies as a "fancy fold"...hey, wait a minute...I'm hostess this week...and I say it qualifies! hehehe!!

Here's my card "recipe"...
Cardstock: Pretty in Pink & Baja Breeze (Stampin' Up)
DPs: My Mind's Eye "Wonderful Winter"
Rick-rack & brad: my stash
Flowers: Wild Orchid Crafts
Nestabilities dies: oval & scalloped oval
Punches: Martha Stewart
Liquid Applique
Polar White Flower Soft
Copics & Prismacolor pencils (too numerous to mention)

Okey dokey...it's time for you to head on over to Mo's DP2 Challenge Blog HERE so you can check out the gorgeous projects by my talented DT sisters! Then, we'd love for you to make your own Mo Manning challenge project and join the fun!! Just remember to use one (or more) of Mo Manning's images (you can find them in Mo's online stores HERE and HERE)! One lucky participant (chosen at random, of course) will receive a $5.00 shopping spree at Mo's online store.

And...that's it for me. Thanks so much for stopping by...and for leaving such kind comments! Big hugs...until next time....
