"In the DOGHOUSE" at Mo's

Happy Thursday . . . and welcome, once again, to my little corner of the "blogging" world! I've been spending lots of time indoors in my air conditioned studio (it's still crazy hot outside)! And I had such fun with my little "creation" for this week's challenge at Mo's DP2 Challenge Blog! The challenge theme this week is . . .

In the "DOGHOUSE"

Now I wasn't quite sure if I was going to go with a cute "dog" image, or one of the adorable Mo images depicting someone in trouble! In the end, I went with a dog image . . . here it is . . . what'cha think?
OK . . . so here's the deal . . . I decided that, since our grandson's 8th birthday is coming up in a couple of weeks, I'd make him something to tuck in with his other birthday goodies! Brody's dad (my eldest son, Andy) was in the Navy once upon a time . . . and they now have a big golden dog (mixed pedigree, I'm pretty sure! hehe!)! Anyway, I thought Brody could use this birthday card as a hanger for his bedroom door! And, I tell ya, with Mo's cute image and and a sketchy idea in my mind, this just sort of fell together! Voila! Here's a close-up . . .
This little darlin' is called "Out There" and is available HERE in Mo's online store. Here's a "full frontal" view . . .
My card "recipe" . . .
Image printed on Cryogen  Paper
Real Red, & Night of Navy cardstock: Stampin' Up
DPs: "Nantucket Stack" by DCWV
Frilly Squares #10 dies: Go Kreate
Stars clips, twine, "red rope" hanger, & brads: my stash
Sentiment & stamp die: Whimsy
Banner stamps: Whimsy
Banner punches: Stampin' Up
Envelope (on back): Melissa Frances
Copics & various color pencils

A peek at the back (one of Brody's fave stores is Barnes & Noble) . . .
And finally, the "artsy" view . . .
So, that's what I've been up to lately! Now, please be sure to pop on over to Mo's DP2 Challenge Blog HERE to check out the gorgeous projects created my talented DT sistahs! Then, please join the fun this week at Mo's DP2 Challenge Blog! Just remember to use one (or more) of Mo Manning's images (you can find them in Mo's online stores HERE and HERE). Oooh . . . and don't forget . . .  Mo is giving away one $5.00 shopping spree at Mo's online stores for every 25 entries! (selected by Random.Org, of course).

Oh, wait . . . one more thing . . . this is the LAST WEEK to get in on the Guest DT Call!! So . . . what'cha waitin' for? Oh . . . and one more LAST thing . . . thanks so much for visiting . . . and for your kind comments! Until next time . . . Mwahhhh!
