My sweet . . . and ever so sassy DT sistah, Jeni, is our hostess once again this week . . . and she's chosen the theme . . .
"Back to Nature"
Fun, huh? Now . . . with all my blethering about snow, it would make sense for me to have created something with a snow/winter theme, right? But, nooooo . . . since it looks like Spring, I thought I'd make a sort of "Spring-like" card for this week's challenge! hehehe! I know . . . kind of twisted logic, right? But, the truth is, I just wanted to use one of my new Sassy Cheryl images . . .
You, of course, will recognize my very fave Sassy Cheryl "character", Sassy Sally!! Well . . . let me tell ya, if you love Sassy Sally . . . and Noah . . . and Charlie . . . and Bella, are you ever in for a treat!! Sassy Cheryl has been one busy little artist!! In addition to her regular store Sassy Cheryl Digis, and her daily journal blog at Illustrated by Cheryl, Sassy Cheryl has just opened a NEW STORE featuring some really, really adorable new images! It's called "Just Being Sally" . . . check it out HERE!!
Now . . . back to my card! As I said, I just had to have this new Sassy Sally image . . . it's called "Have You Heard?" and is available HERE. Isn't Sassy Sally adorable? She's having a little chit-chat with a ladybug. Kinda weird, I know . . . but sometimes ladybugs are the best listeners!! Here's a close-up . . .
So . . . this card is a birthday card for our eldest granddaughter, Emma. She'll be 14 next week! Yikes!! It seems like just yesterday that she was brand new and all wrinkly and smelling just like a newborn baby!! Here's a side view . . .
And one from the other side . . . (I went a little crazy with my camera . . . hehe!) . . .
