Ummmm . . . I Forget . . .

Wheet whooooo!! It's Tuesday . . . and it's Spring . . . and I'm in such a hap-hap-happy mood!! It's time for another super-de-duper funtabulous challenge over at Sassy Cheryl's Challenge Blog?!! And once again this week, the ever talented Miz Jackie is our hostess! And she's come up with the coolest sketch for us to use! Here . . . take a look . . .

I have to admit, I nearly did something crazy with this sketch . . . you know, like turning it inside out or on its head or something!! But . . . I decided that, since Jackie worked so hard on this sketch (and since it's a very fun sketch), I'd keep it pretty much as is!! Here's my version . . . 

Now . . . this card is for my sister, Dee, who is having a birthday on Thursday. Right off the bat I have to say . . . "Dee, quick . . . avert your eyes . . . NOW!" hehe! She's such a sneaky peeker!! We're going "Back to Nature" at Sassy Cheryl's

Hap-hap-happy Tuesday, my lovelies!! Guess what?? We had snow flurries yesterday here in Richmond, VA! It was so beautiful! I just wish some of the snow would have STUCK! But, alas, not so much! It melted as soon as it hit the ground! And, as I look out my window now, it practically looks like SPRING!! What's up with that? I wouldn't mind seeing a little snow . . . but, nope! I don't see it happening anytime soon!! Well, enough on the weather, let's talk about this week's challenge over at Sassy Cheryl's Challenge Blog, shall we?

Fun, huh? Now . . . with all my blethering about snow, it would make sense for me to have created something with a snow/winter theme, right? But, nooooo . . . since it looks like Spring, I thought I'd make a sort of "Spring-like" card for this week's challenge! hehehe! I know . . . kind of twisted logic, right? But, the truth is, I just wanted to use one of my new Sassy Cheryl images . . .

You, of course, will recognize my very fave Sassy Cheryl "character", Sassy Sally!! Well . . . let me tell ya, if you love Sassy Sally . . . and Noah . . . and Charlie . . . and Bella, are you ever in for a treat!! Sassy Cheryl has been one busy little artist!! In addition to her regular store Sassy Cheryl Digis, and her daily journal blog at Illustrated by Cheryl, Sassy Cheryl has just opened a NEW STORE featuring some really, really adorable new images! It's called "Just Being Sally" . . . check it out HERE!!

Bright & Cheery at Sassy Cheryl's!!

WARNING!!! Grab your sunglasses...'cuz what you're about to see is "burn your retinas" bright! Hehehe! How fun...especially for those of us who are deep into the cold and dreary days of winter (not me, of course...but surely some of you are getting snow and cold by now!!) So...here's what I came up with...

I swear, I don't know what's gotten into me...orange again?! And I don't even particularly like orange...unless it's in the form of peach, that is! I guess my sweet friend, Dorcas, is rubbing off on me! hehehe!! But...orange is a mighty bright color...and all I had to do was add a little yellow and lime green and turquoise...and VOILA...BRIGHT and CHEERY!! hehehe!! Well, work with me...it seemed pretty bright and cheery at 0-dark-thirty when I was making it!! Now, in the light of day, it just hurts my eyes and nearly offends my sensibilities! bwahahaha!
