What's Cookin' over at Mo's?

Happy Thursday . . . and welcome to my little corner of blogdom! Don't get too close . . . I'm fighting a stinkin' cold. Yep, it's true, I get one nearly every time I travel. Must be all those germs floating around on the plane! Or, maybe my sister was right when she said I didn't consume enough alcohol when we were in Las Vegas to kill all those nasty germs!! hehehe!! Well, either way, I'm still alive . . . just a bit sneezy and sniffly! But this, too, shall pass! More importantly, it's time for another fabulous challenge at Mo's DP2 Challenge Blog! That'll perk anybody up! Our theme this week is . . .

Favorite Color Combo!

And here's what I came up with . . . it's kinda peachy coral and aqua . . .

This little cutie is called "What's Cookin'" and you can find her HERE in Mo's online store. Care for a couple of side views? Of course you would! hehehe!!

OK, here's the deal . . . I made this card for my step-daughter who is getting married in July. Her bridesmaids  hosted a "Kitchen" shower for her while I was off gallivanting all over Las Vegas . . . gathering all kinds of foreign germs! Seriously, do you feel sorry for me yet?! hehe! (I'm trying to garner a wee bit of sympathy here . . . how am I doing?! Awww . . . ya can't blame a girl for trying! LOL!)

My card "recipe" . . .
Image printed on Cryogen White  Paper
Very Vanilla & Baja Breeze,  Cardstock: Stampin' Up
DPs: Stampin' Up
Lacy oval die: Nestabilities
Corner die: Whimsy
Sentiment on front: A-Muse Stamps
Inside sentiment: Magnolia
Baja Breeze seam binding: Stampin' Up
Flowers, pearls, and pearl brad: My stash
Copics & Prismacolor pencils

A peek at the inside . . .

And, of course . . .

So, what'cha think? Cute, right? But I ask you . . . when did you ever see a Mo Manning image that wasn't cute? Answer: NEVER! Hope you enjoyed looking at my latest little creation! Now, please be sure to pop on over to Mo's DP2 Challenge Blog HERE to check out the stunning projects created my talented DT sistahs! Then, please join the fun this week at Mo's DP2 Challenge Blog! Just remember to use one (or more) of Mo Manning's images (you can find them in Mo's online stores HERE and HERE). Oooh . . . and don't forget . . .  Mo is giving away one $5.00 shopping spree at Mo's online stores for every 25 entries! (selected by Random.Org, of course).

Thanks so much for visiting . . . and always, always for your sweet comments! Until next time . . . hugs!
