We're using "Kraft" paper at Mo's this week!

Hey there, kiddos! It's time for another fun challenge at Mo's DP2 Challenge Blog! And this week, our lovely and talented Design Teamie, Kim, is our Hostess . . . and she'd like to see us all use a little . . .
"Kraft Paper"

So . . . since I'm mostly a "Copics" color-er, I decided to break out of my comfort zone and do a little coloring with pencils directly on the kraft paper! I swear, it looks so easy when other people do it, but me? Hmmmmm . . . not so much! Well . . . be kind . . . here's my "Kraft Paper" project . . .
And . . . not only did I color on kraft paper . . . I also made this week's card CLEAN & SIMPLE!! Aaacck! Definitely looks more than a little naked to me . . . but it'll be easy to mail since it's pretty flat! Here's a close up . . .
I chose this sweet little Mo Manning image called "Snowman" . . . you can find this image HERE in Mo's online store! Here's a side view . . .
  My Card "Recipe" . . .
Image printed on Kraft paper
Whisper White & Bashful Blue cardstock: Stampin' Up
Twine & brads: My stash
Sentiments: LOTV, Sparkle 'n Sprinkle, & Printworks
Dies: Nestabilities, & Whimsy
Prismacolor pencils

A peek at the inside . . .

And, one last pic . . .
So, there ya have it . . . this is me stepping far, far outside of my comfort zone!! Hehehe! Now . . . please pop on over to Mo's DP2 Challenge Blog and check out the fabulous projects by Kim and the rest of my talented DT sisters! Then, please join us for this week's challenge. It's simple, really, just pull out your craft supplies and at least one Mo Manning image . . . and let the crafting begin!

Oh . . . and don't forget, Mo is awarding (selected at random) one $5.00 shopping spree at her online store for every 25 challenge participants!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Hugs . . . until next time . . . .

Pat, love your snowman on the Kraft paper. I'm with you on the Copic thing, but I do love the look on Kraft. Another GORGEOUS card! Enjoy your day!

Very Sweet "C" card Pat, love the colouring on Kraft you have done. I have used Kraft as a matt but never coloured on it yet. Debbiex

I just love your card! Go Sweetie You are so right sweetie. I had a time coloring on Kraft cardstock myself. I need to practice more on it. LOL. We both stepped out of our coloring zone!! Love your inspiration.
