"Straight from the Heart" at Mo's

Welcome to Thursday! Whoot whoo . . . almost the weekend! It's s'posed to be hot and humid this weekend here in Richmond, VA, USA . . . so you can bet I'll be hanging out in my air conditioned studio!! hehe! Soooo . . . it's time for another challenge over at Mo's DP2 Challenge Blog! This week's theme is to make a card that is . . .

"Straight from the Heart"
(Whatever that means to you!!)

And  . . . here's what I came up with . . .
This sweet little Mo Manning image is called "Ragged Romeo" . . . and you can find it HERE in Mo's online store. I tried to go with a bit of a vintage feel, since these little darlins are quite "vintage-y" don'tcha think?
My card "recipe" . . .
Image printed on Cryogen White  Paper
Blushing Bride & True Thyme cardstock: Stampin' Up
DPs: "London Market" by Pink Paislee
Birdcage die: Memory Box
Heart die (inside): Cheery Lynn Dies
Corner die: Marianne's Createables
Lace, and flowers: Wild Orchid Crafts
Sentiment: Magnolia
Copics & colored pencils

A peek at the inside . . .

One last view . . .
Now, don't forget to pop on over to Mo's DP2 Challenge Blog HERE to check out the fabulous projects created my talented DT sistahs! Then, please join the fun this week at Mo's DP2 Challenge Blog! Just remember to use one (or more) of Mo Manning's images (you can find them in Mo's online stores HERE and HERE). Oh . . . and remember . . .  Mo is giving away one $5.00 shopping spree at Mo's online stores for every 25 entries! (selected by Random.Org, of course).

Thanks so much for stopping by . . . and for leaving such sweet comments! Until next time . . . Mwaahhh!!

You can't go wrong with Romeo!! Looks like Tom Sawyer and BEcky, doesn't it? LOve all the embossing and dies etc, and your coloring just gets better and better when I thought it was perfect to start with!
btw, I think I finally worked up an AA color scheme for kraft..my AA on white paper came out a wee bit reddish but I'm going with it for now.
