Practicing...

So here are a couple of Tildas that I've been working on...the ballerina was done w/distress inks...and the flower girl was done with Prismacolor pencils. I feel pretty good about how they turned out...but want to practice a bit more. Any suggestions? Not surprising...it appears that I'm heavy handed w/distress inks and pencils...just like I am w/Copics. Practicepracticepractice!! Too bad that whole "work" thing takes up so many hours each day!! hahaha! Have a great week everyone...and thanks so much for stopping by to take a peek! Pat

I have to disagree...I don't think they're heavily colored at all...I think both your Tildas are gorgeous, charming, delightful...in short, everything Tilda should be!! :)

Wow, you did an awesome job coloring both of those cuties. I would love to try distress inks, but I'm sooooo hesitant! The flower girl looks like she is colored with inks!!!
Beautiful job!!!!

Agree with the "work" thing... I want more than 24 hours a days when it comes to crafts. Opps!

They are lovely Pat. Not heavy handed at all. I am only just starting out with distress inks and if I can get mine to look anything like yours I will be ecstatic. Can't wait to see more..

Both Tilda's are colored beautifully! It is nice seeing coloring with other mediums decides Copics! Very nice shading and light areas. I like the hair in the second one better for you left the light area lighter which made it POP more!
