Ribbons & Laces at Deep Ocean Challenge

Looking for this week's Sassy Cheryl's card?
No worries . . . HERE it is!

Hey there, my sweet friends!! I am so, sooooooooo excited today because this is my very first challenge as a Design Team member at Deep Ocean Challenge Blog!! I can't tell you how delighted - and honored - I am to have been chosen to work alongside such talented designers . . . from all over the WORLD!!

This fortnight's challenge theme is . . .

Ribbons & Lace!!

And our sponsor for this challenge is none other than . . .

So . . . are you ready to see my newest creation?
It's no secret . . . I've loved Lili of the Valley images since I first discovered them several years ago. And I'm so excited that I can use any images I want . . . LOTV, Hanglar & Stanglar, Magnolia, and Saturated Canary . . . as well as my favorite Sugar Nellie, Mo Manning, and Sassy Cheryl images! That's the beauty of Deep Ocean Challenges . . . you can use any images . . . or no images at all . . . as long as you follow the challenge theme! Yayyyyy!! OK . . . so, as I was saying . . . this image is called "Meant to Be" and is available HERE at LOTV! Here's a close-up . . .
I made this card for my husband's eldest daughter who recently got married!! I just  thought this image screamed "LOVE" . . . so it seemed perfect for a wedding card! Here's a bit of a side view . . .
My Card Recipe:
Image stamped onto Arches 140# Cold Pressed Watercolor Paper
Bordering Blue cardstock: Stampin' Up
DPs: "Nature's Garden" by Prima
Curved Rectangle die: Spellbinders Nestabilities
Corner die: Joy Craft
Heart tag die: Magnolia
Banner die: LaLa Land
Butterfly: Bo Bunny
Charm: The Charm Store 24/7
Frantage Shabby Blue embossing powder
Flowers & pearl brad: Wild Orchid Crafts
Seam binding & Cheesecloth: The Ribbon Girl
Lace & pearls: My stash
Inside sentiment: Magnolia
Colored with Tim Holtz Distress Inks

A peek at the inside . . .

And, finally, my "artsy" view . . .
So, that's what I've been up to . . . having fun in my studio! hehe! Now . . . please pop on over to Deep Ocean Challenge Blog and take a look at the gorgeous works of art created by my new and very talented Design Teamies! Then, after you've done that, you'll definitely want to pull out your arts and crafts supplies - including some lace & ribbon, of course - and come join us! Who knows . . . you may just be the lucky winner of this fabulous prize . . .

How cool is that?? Answer: Very, VERY cool!! Thanks so much for stopping by for a visit! And thanks for taking the time to leave a quick comment . . . or to just say "hi"! Sending big hugs . . . until next time . . . .
