Ooooohhhh...I am soooo excited!! It's Thursday again...which means another fun challenge at Mo's!! And...y'know what's even more fun?? This week's challenge theme - chosen by my delightfully talented friend and DT sistah, Lydia - is....ta-daaaaaaaaaa... "Pink & Girlie"!! Seriously...what could be better than that? OK...maybe pink and green and girlie...LOL!! But...I opted for pink and girlie...with just a smidgen of blue for this cute little card!
You may remember that I made a sweet Mo Manning baby card a while back for our dear friend, Max, whose only daughter just had twin girls! They're Max's first granddaughters...and let me tell ya...they have him wrapped around their teeny tiny baby fingers!! LOL! So...I decided that it was about time for me to finally make the second baby card! After all, if I don't get crackin', the girls'll be in kindergarten before I know it! hehehe!!
I really love how this turned out...y'know, all pink and girlie! Lace and ribbons and pearls! Whoohoo!! And, of course, this absolutely adorable Mo Manning image called Baby and Bunny.
Here's the rest of my card recipe:
Cardstock: Whisper White (SU)
DPs: "Candy Floss" Collection (Wild Rose Studio)
Pearls: Zva Creatives
Flowers: Wild Orchid Crafts
Ribbon & safety pin: my stash
Colors: Prismacolor Pencils
Now, you know I love my Copics, but I'm really excited about learning how to master Prismacolor Pencils. A special thanks to my sweet friend and crazy talented DT sistah, Dorcas, who is being so patient with all my goofy Preismacolor Pencil questions! I must admit, I find coloring with pencils is so relaxing!!
So...that's it for me...shortest post in history! And now you'll want to stop over at Mo's DP2 Challenge Blog and check out the gorgeously GORGEOUS "Pink & Girlie" creations by my incredibly talented Design Teamies...you won't be disappointed, trust me! Then...pull out your pink papers, lace, ribbons, pearls, diamonds, pencils, Copics, DIs...etc., etc., etc., and make your own wonderful "Pink & Girlie" creation for this week's challenge. Just remember to use at least one Mo Manning image...and there are so, so many fun images to choose from at Mo's online store HERE. And, as always...one lucky participant (selected at random) will win a new Mo Manning digi image to add to their own growing collection!!
Thank you soooooo much for visiting...and for taking the time to leave me some love!! You are the best!! Sending "Pink & Girlie" hugs your way...until next time...

Tilda at the Carnival...
Welcome to this month's "Inspiration Challenge" at Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog. Now...here's the deal...April has been my month to choose challenges. I think I did a smashing job with the pink & green color choice for our last challenge...right?! Of course right!! What's not to love about pink & green!! LOL! OK...so I found this fun photo of two darling little girls at the carnival...so I thought this would be a fun inspiration photo! You know...carnival, horses, 2 cute girls, bling, bright and funky colors...
Aren't they just the cutest?? Of course, I'm probably a bit partial since these little cutie patooties are Ava (who is 7 yrs. old) and her sister, Mia (a.k.a. Mimi...who is 4)...two of our four gorgeous granddaughters! So...with these little sweethearts for my inspiration, here's what I came up with...
I went with a "carnival" theme...and used #433 Carousel Horse and # 385 60's Tilda both available from Magnolia-licious...your online store for all things Magnolia!!
I did a little paper piecing with this fun DP (from my stash). Didja notice...pink and green AGAIN!! With a little purple thrown in for variety! LOL!! You may have noticed the gorgeous pink diamonds...they came from my jewelry box (just kidding!...they're rhinestones! hehehe!) The ticket sentiments are from Whimsy Stamps...aren't they fun?
And inside I made a couple of pockets...I used the Doohickey lace for the edges...and tucked in a little Doohickey Vintage Tag with #3030 Mini Tilda with Big Ribbon. I colored her with Prismacolor Pencils...the rest of the images are colored with Copics.
Y'know something? You're a real trooper...you've made it through this lengthy post (but seriously...when are my posts EVER brief?!) OK...so now you'll want to pop on over to Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog and take a peek at the gorgeous paper creations by my amazingly talented DT sisters!! Then...dig out your craft supplies and whip up your own paper masterpiece for this month's Inspiration Challenge!! As always...one lucky challenge participant (selected at random) will win a $25.00 voucher to Magnolia-licious to help you add to your ever-growing Maggie collection! Whoooo hoooo!!!
Thanks so much for stopping by...and HUGE THANKS for your kind comments! Sending lots of hugs your way...until next time....

Pretend they're lilies!!
Hi...and happy weekend to you all! The weather here in Richmond, VA is absolutely spectacular! Clear and sunny and even a smidgen warm! But I'm lovin' it! Especially since I'm hanging out in my air conditioned craftroom playing!! hehehe!! Remember last week when I went to Las Vegas? Did I mention that I schlepped some images and Prisma Color Pencils with me on the trip?! Well...it's true...and I actually colored a couple of images ...and ended up with just one that I'm somewhat pleased with! LOL! I can't, for the life of me, tell you what color pencils I used...a little of this and a little of that, me thinks!! Anyway...I created this fun card this afternoon with my pencil-colored Tilda...tell me what you think...
I used DPs from K&Co. (Best of Brenda Walton collection)...and cardstock is from SU...Concord Grape...yummy, huh?! Here are a couple of side views...
This card seems to be all about embellies...pearls and pearl swirls (from Zva Creatives...I love these!) and that cool metal filigree corner thingie and flowers (from Wild Orchid Crafts) and seam binding (from the Ribbon Girl) and this delightful little dragonfly Doohickey (Magnolia).
And here's a peek at the inside...no sentiment, just space for a personal note! (I'm sending a bunch of cards to my sister, Dee, in Minnesota...she's going to sell them to some of her friends...they call her "Hallmark Lady!" LOL!!)

So...I must say, I had fun making this "just for fun" card (even though I'm not really a purple person...lavender & lilac are two of my fave flowers...along with tulips and lily of the valley!!) Oh...I almost forgot...the reason I'm pretending that Tilda is holding lilies and not amaryllises (is that a real word?!...It is now! LOL!) is because this is - in case you hadn't noticed - a Spring card! I'm entering this cutie into a couple of fun challenges...
and
So...if you haven't done so already, do check 'em both out...they have some yummilicious entries already!! I'll be back on Tuesday with another fun card for Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog...so do pop back then, won't you?
And...thanks so much for stopping by. I truly appreciate your visits...and all your kind comments...they definitely brighten by days!! Have a great rest of the weekend...sending Spring Hugs your way...until next time....

Hop on over...
Hi again sweet friends!! It's been a crazy week...and I'm still frantically trying to catch up! hehe! My sweet hubby and I flew to Las Vegas for the weekend...we met up with my sister, Dee, and her hubby (they flew there from Minnesota)...and we celebrated my sister's birthday! We ate and laughed and drank...and contributed to the local enconomy, of course...one penny at a time (yep, penny slots! LOL!). We had such fun. I think this will become an annual event!! But...enough about me...I have the coolest thing to share with you all!! We're ALL going to a hop!! That's right...a blog hop!! And it's not your everyday, run of the mill blog hop either...this one is extra super duper special...so read on....
What do you think of when you hear the words, "Clowns, Cotton Candy, corn dogs, sticky fingers, squeals of delight ...and sometimes even complaints of tummy aches and sore feet near the end of the day?"
THE CARNIVAL!!
But...before we start, let me say that, if you just happened to pop on by to say g’day (isn't that just so cute?!) and want to join us on this super Carnival Hop then you’ll want to START HERE. OK...are you ready?? Here are the hoppity hop hop details...
Zoe from Make it Crafty and Mo from Mo’s Digital Pencil, came together to share the delight and fun of The Carnival. To celebrate - Zoe's and Mo's fabulously talented teams have come together for one MASSIVE blog hop! We all had such fun playing with these "Carnival" images...and we want to share our little "masterpieces" with you for a bit of inspiration....
For my card, I chose not one, but TWO of Mo's delightful Carnival images...JoJo the Clown...and Kat at the Carnival available HERE at Mo's Digital Pencil Too! And from Zoe's Make it Crafty online store, I used this fun circus tent available HERE.
And, of course, I wanted to decorate the inside of the card...I kept it pretty simple, but just had to add little Kat with her huge bag of Kettle Korn!
Have y'all noticed these little balloons? Well, here's a hint: Write down the letters as you go because at the very end we want you to guess what the saying is! Why? Two words: FREE STUFF!! (My fave two words, in fact!! I LOVE free stuff!! LOL!)
There will be THREE grand prizes randomly drawn from the correct answers PLUS there will be hidden prizes along the way so make sure you leave some love as you hop along!
Now we know this is a super big hop, but we wanted to make sure you would get LOTS of inspiration! The hop will be open until the April 28th...so you'll have plenty of time to come back each day with a cuppa to soak it all up! (Just don’t lose the letters you have been collecting!)
A special thanks to our fabulous sponsors, Mo’s Digital Pencil, Make it Crafty, Stamping Bella and Quixotic Paperie for providing the fabulous prizes for this grand carnival hop!
You've been a real trooper making it this far...just a couple more goodies before you leave...
My friend and most fabulously talented artist, Mo Manning, has created one more special image for our fun "Carnival Blog Hop".
You can get her for your very own! That's right...for the duration of the Carnival Blog Hop, this little cutie patootie is available HERE for the unbelievably low price of $1.00!! All proceeds will be donated to the "Make a Wish" foundations in both the U.S. and the U.K.!! How cool is that? You get to help make a dream come true for some very deserving children...PLUS you get a new Mo Manning digi image to add to your collection!!
Thanks so much for visiting...and have fun on the Carnival bloggity blog hoppity hop! Now...don't forget to leave a comment for a ‘possible’ chance at winning some hidden treasure!! Are ya ready for some more fun and gorgeous artwork? Okie dokie...then hop on over to visit my amazingly talented DT sister, Dawn!!

And, of course, I wanted to decorate the inside of the card...I kept it pretty simple, but just had to add little Kat with her huge bag of Kettle Korn!

Sophie starts soccer!
Hi friends...yippeeeeee! It's Thursday again and all y'all know what that means, don'tcha? Yep...it's time for another fabby challenge at Mo's!! Once again, my friend and amazingly talented Dorcas is our hostess with the mostess!! And does she ever have a great theme for us... "Start of Something New"!
Now, you may think of a new baby...or a graduation...or a wedding...or even a divorce! But...nope, I wanted to make a special card for our sweet little 5-year-old granddaughter, Sophie, who just started playing soccer!! You may remember that Soph is a dancer...but this Spring she opted out of dance so she could play soccer! Well, no surprise here, Mo has the cutest little soccer players (she actually has several...but I chose this little darlin' because Sophia has curly hair!)
You may have noticed that this card is quite clean and simple...which is exactly what I was aiming for!! I so enjoy white-on-white cards and have wanted to make one for some time now. Well...while I love the embossing and layers...and I love how this adorable Mo Manning "Soccer Girl" is the focal point, I have to admit, this little card feels a bit "nekked" to me! LOL!
Don'tcha just love this little soccer ball charm" I got it from The Charm Barn...so, if you're into charms, you will definitely want to check out this online store!! They have about a kabillion charms! The pinkish cardstock and ribbon are both from Stampin Up...they're called "Melon Mambo"...one of my fave pinks!
Alright friends, you know the drill...put on your thinking caps and come up with a card, 3D project, etc. using one (or more) of Mo's delightful little images (there are lots and lots to choose from at Mo's Digital Pencil Online Store)...and don't forget to use Dorcas' theme "Start of Something New". Let your imaginations run wild!! But before you start crafting, pop on over to Mo's DP2 Challenge Blog and take a peek at what my talented DT sisters have created for inspiration.
OK...on your mark, get set, GO!! Let the crafting begin! Don't forget to add your card to the challenge using that Blue Frog thingie...because one lucky participant will win a Mo Manning digi image of her (or his) choice!! Whoooo hooooo!! Shopping!! LOL!!
Thanks for stopping by for a visit...and, as always, thank you so much for your kind comments that boost my ego and truly make my day! Sending big Spring hugs your way!! Until next time...

Hi sweet friends...welcome to Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog!! I'm so excited to be your hostess for the month of April! Whoo hooo...Spring! YAY! And, for those of you who know me, it will come as no big surprise that I chose Pink & Green for this month's Color Challenge!! LOL! My fave color combo! (Although I am trying to break out of that and try some other colors with GREEN!! Have you noticed, everything goes well with green?! The color of my eyes! hehehe!!) So...enough of my babbling...here's a gorgeous photo of a pink & green flower to getcha started!
And here's my Pink & Green "twisted easel" card...
I just received a huge order from Magnolia-licious! What can I say? I have no sales resistance...especially when it comes to Magnolia images...and my friend, Diana Crick (owner of Magnolia-licious Online Store) has the best selection of Maggies...PLUS, if you're lovin' the Mini Maggies like I do, then you need to know that Magnolia-licious has the best selection of Mini Maggies in all of North America!! Tilda looks like she might be talking to a butterfly...or puppy. Tooooo cute!
I used Blushing Bride Cardstock from SU...and Nana's Nursery DP from DCWV. Then I added some pearls, flowers, and ribbon. Oohhh...I nearly forgot...the ribbon came from Magnolia-Licious too. I ordered Rhapsody of Ribbon HERE and let me tell ya, the ribbons (all hand selected by Diana herself!) are absolutely scrumptious!! I also used several Doohickey Dies...including the Dragonfly, Leaf & Swirl , and Vintage Tag.
I used the following Copic Sketch Markers: E21, 00, 000, 0000 (skin); R20 (cheeks); E35, 53, 51, 50, 13, YR21, 20 (hair); R32, 30, 00, 000, RV34, 32, 10 (pinks); G28, 24, 21, 20 (greens); E25, 21, 50 (shoes); W3, 1, 00, C1, 2 (shading & ground). Oh, I also used some Prismacolor pencils to add a bit more dimension. I'm just starting out with these...but I quite like the effect!!
So...now...hop on over to Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog and check out the delicious projects made by my uber talented DT sisters...and then get working on your own Pink & Green project. And in case you need a little more coaxing to join this month's Color Challenge...here it is...one lucky participant (chosen at random) will receive a $25.00 gift certificate for a Magnolia-Licious shopping spree!! I am sooooo jealous!! Thanks for stopping by...and, as always, thank you so very, very much for your kind comments! Until next time....

Some bunny loves you...
Happy weekend, my blogging friends! I just finished a sweet little card...I think I'm sending this one to our 5 year-old granddaughter, Sophie. She LOVES getting cards from her Crazy Gramma Pat...and she especially loves cards featuring Tilda. This one has not one but THREE adorable little Tildas. (Sophie always helps me out by drawing on a nose and mouth! hehehe!!) Take a peek...I used this adorable "Tilda and her bunny" available from my friend, Diana Crick, at Magnolia-licious HERE. Isn't she so precious?!! And she was such fun to color!!
I used some new K & Co. DPs called "Julianne"...they're simply delicious, don'tcha think? The seam binding is Baja Breeze from Stampin' Up...and the fun sentiment is from hAnglar sTanglar. Seemed to fit!!
And...are ya ready for it? Ta-daaaaa..."artsy view"...
Here are a couple of views of the inside featuring "Longing Tilda" And that cute little darlin' on the Doohickey Die is "Little Bunny Tilda"...Magnolia-licious is definitely MY "go to" online store for all things Magnolia. Oh...and, in case you didn't know, Diana at Magnolia-licious holds the sole distributorship for Mini Maggies!! So...if you don't have any yet...whatcha waitin' for?? Each and every Mini Maggie is beyond precious!! They're such fun to color and they fit beautifully on little tags that tuck so nicely into little pockets like this one! Oh...they also make really cute bookmarks!
I colored these cuties with Copics...and added some depth with Prismacolor Pencils. Here are the Copics I used:
So...that's it for me, kiddos...I think I'll enter my little card into this week's challenge at Just Magnolia...and maybe I'll find a couple more challenges to enter...we'll see. Thanks so much for stopping by to see what I've been up to...and for leaving such delightful comments. Sending warm hugs from Richmond, VA to all of you. Until next time...

How does your garden grow?
Hello friends...and happy Thursday!! I do so enjoy Thursdays! Can ya guess why? Easy...it's because it's time for another fun challenge at Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge Blog! And this week my sweet and incredibly talented friend, Dorcas, is our hostess. Now, here's the deal, Dorcas lives in North Carolina...and told me she was out in the garden planting things the other day!! How perfect that the theme this week is "How does your garden grow?" All I can say is..."beats me...I can't tell the difference between a flower and a weed!" And, to be honest, this little guy, "Monday's Child" available HERE at Mo Manning's online store, looks like he's trying to sort out the whole gardening thing himself! hehehe!
Isn't he just the cutest in his little green overalls?! Here's a close up...don't you think he has the most angelic face? (Even though it is sort of covered in mud!)
These papers are a bit vibrant...but kinda fun. They're from Cosmo Cricket's "Garden Variety" collection! The cardstock is from Stampin' Up (Crushed Curry & Poppy Parade)...and the ink used for the inside sentiment is Garden Green. (I can't remember where I got the sentiment stamp...but I thought it was perfect for this little card!)
The ribbon is from Stampin' Up as well. Here are a couple of pics of the inside....
So...here's a question...how would you like to win this sweet little image? (Or any Mo Manning image of your choice?) It's easy to do...just make your own paper creation (card or 3-D project) using at least one Mo Manning image...and following Dorcas' fun "How does your garden grow?" theme...and enter it into our weekly challenge at Mo's HERE. One lucky participant will be chosen (at random) to win a Mo Manning image of your choice! Fun huh?!
But before you do that, be sure to pop on over to Mo's DP2 Challenge Blog and take a peek at the fun projects created by my ultra creative Design Teamies!
Thanks so much for stopping by for a visit...and thanks for your sweet comments that truly make me smile! Unril next time....
