This one was created in partnership with my sister, Dee, who lives in Minnesota (I'm in South Carolina) and "crafts" with me via Facetime video. I cherish these crafting sessions with her! She comes up with some of the best ideas!!

Pussywillows

Hello again!! Miss me? Hehehe!! I've been on a wee sabbatical . . . I'm embarrassed to admit that I fell a few weeks ago and fractured my right arm! Ouch!!! No worries, though . . . I'm healing and starting to use my arm again! Naturally, I decided I needed some coloring and card-making "therapy"! So, today I have a Sympathy card to share with you!

This 5.5" x 4.25 card features Mo Manning's "Pussywillows," but I decided to turn the pussywillows into lavender! This beautiful image comes with two lovely sentiments! You can find this digi here in Mo's online store.

Mo's "Flower Jar" . . .

Hello friends!! I hope you've had a GREAT weekend! I've been busy coloring and painting (so much more fun than cleaning house!) Here's just one of the projects I've been working on . . .

I used one of Mo's newest digi images called "Flower Jar" (available HERE in Mo's online store)! Here's a close-up . . .

I love looking at flowers . . . and smelling them (even though they make me sneeeeze!) . . . but I honestly can't tell the difference between flowers and weeds! I would have no idea what kind of flowers these are . . . except Mo told me that the red ones are poppies! They were sure fun to color, though!!

Another "Sympathy" Card . . .

Hello there my darlins! I hope you had a great weekend . . . can you believe it's June already?! I guess I'd better dig out some Christmas papers and images! But maybe I'll wait until August because that's when Sugar Nellie is releasing a whole new crop of Winter/Christmas "Fairies" . . . and you know how much fun those are!! OK . . . enough with the teasers! I have a new Sugar Nellie DT card to share with you . . .

This card is a Sympathy card for an artist friend of mine whose brother recently passed away. I have to say that, while making "sympathy" cards is never fun, this one just sort of came together. This sweet image is "Melissa." She's from Sugar Nellie's "Simply Adorable" digital images and is available HERE at Funky Kits. I thought this image would be perfect for a sympathy card. Happy Monday, my sweet friends! I hope you had a great weekend,  and that your week is off to a fabulous start!! I have a new Sugar Nellie DT card to share with you . . .

This card is a Sympathy card for a friend of ours who lost his elderly mother last week. I don't know about you, but I always struggle with two things . . . Sympathy Cards . . . AND cards for guys. And, while this one is both (sympathy and guy card), I really rather like how it turned out. This darling image is from Kathy Hare's collection of Sugar Nellie stamps. The stamp is called "Worried" and is available HERE at Funky Kits. I really think this image is perfect for a sympathy card, don't you? Here's a bit of a side view . . .

Sympathy . . .

Hello my sweet friends. Sympathy cards are never easy to create . . . at least they're not easy for me. A couple of week's ago, a close friend of ours lost his father. I've been thinking about making a sympathy card, but just struggled and struggled. But, then, the inspiration came and here it is . . . today's Sugar Nellie DT card!

This sweet little Sugar Nellie image is "Dreamer" from the very talented artist, Leanne Ellis. You can find her HERE at Funky Kits.

I decided to do a monochromatic card, with just a pop of red . . . red and black and white just seem so elegant, don't you think?
