Fa la la la laaaaa . . . for the "boys"!

Welcome, sweet friends! And welcome back to ME! That's right . . . I just got back from a 10-day vacay in the Carribbean! And let me tell ya, now that my summer "getaway" is behind me, I'm ready to gear up for some winter holiday fun!! Ho ho ho!!

Oh . . . and, since it's Thursday, it's time for another super fun challenge at Mo's DP2 Challenge Blog! This week our hostess is my sweet friend and very talented DT sister, Anja! And she's chosen the theme . . .

Aaacck! A boy card? Sniff sniff . . . it seems like ages since I'mde made a frilly card! I'm going through frou-frou withdrawal! LOL! Soon, though . . . soon! But today's card is CAS . . . and it has a boy on it! That counts, I think! And . . . I made a card that is NOT SQUARE!!!  My first 5" x 7" card . . . ever!! Here . . . take a look . . .
A Christmas card! I had to chuckle . . . last week at this time I was at the beach . . . and yesterday (when I was making this card) I was listening to Christmas music! haha!! For this week's card, I merged two Mo Manning images . . . Charlie Caroling (available HERE) and Christmas Lamp Post (available HERE). Here's a close-up (albeit a bit blurry) . . .

Hokey Pokey Birthday!!

Oooooohhh . . . how delicious!! Now, I have to admit, when I was younger, purples were really not my faves . . . but now that I'm an old gramma, I definitely love me some purples . . . and lavenders and lilacs and violets!! So . . . what'cha think?
Surprise!! It's Maddie!! hehe! It's been a few weeks since I colored up a little Maddie image . . . and you KNOW how much I love little Maddie!! I created this "Birthday" card for one of my oldest friends! Well, wait . . . it's not that she's really old (she's 3 weeks younger than I am!) . . .  it's just that we've been friends since our senior year in high school! We shared plenty of goofy experiences! In fact . . . I ended up marrying her former boyfriend! But that was long after they broke up, of course! After all, I'm no hussy! hehe! Baby, Baby . . .

Hey there, sweet friends!! Are ya ready for another Sugar Nellie DT Monday?! I am!! And today I have another super cute card to share with you! Seriously . . . have you ever seen a Sugar Nellie image that wasn't super cute? I haven't! And I think this one is extra super-de-duper cute!
This week's card is for my sister . . . well, it's for my sister to give to a friend who is having a new grandbaby!! And the grandbaby is (allegedly) a little boy! The baby hasn't been born quite yet . . . but they're saying it's a boy! hehe! Now . . . I've always loved this sweet little stamp . . .  it's called "Cute & Cuddly" and I just think it's perfect for a baby card, regardless of the baby's gender!! I decided to make the little giraffe and balloon extend beyond the edges of the Nestabilities oval . . . and I really like how it turned out!! Here's a side view . . .

Ho Ho Ho . . . Anything Goes at Mo's!

Happy Thursday, m'darlins!! It's time for another cool challenge at Mo's DP2 Challenge Blog! And I am soooooo excited since this week's theme is . . .

Wheet whooo! I've been waiting for the opportunity to make some more Christmas Tree ornaments! And this week's "Anything Goes" Challenge seemed like the perfect opportunity! OK . . . so here's the deal . . . I got these ornaments at my local craft store 2 years ago (maybe 3!) . . . and decided to tuck in some teensy tiny Mo images and give them to our dear friends for their four grandbabies!!
