Mo's DP2 Challenge & Meet "Hillary"

Hello friends!! It's been a while since I posted a card/project here!! I've been busy hanging out with grandkiddos in Arizona!! So much fun!! But now I'm back . . . and it's Thursday . . . and it's time for our monthly challenge over at Mo's DP2 Challenge Blog!! As you know, all of our challenges are . . .

I used one of Mo's little girl images called "Hillary." Isn't she just precious? I love that haircut!! She's available HERE in Mo's online store.

K is for . . . "Kissy"

Happy Thursday!! I feel like it's been ages since our last challenge at Mo's DP2 Challenge Blog!! But . . . I've been keeping busy, busy, busy hanging out over at Bronte & Bella's Clubhouse. Mo calls it "BBC" . . . while I call it "The Clubhouse"! Whatever we call it, it's FUN!! If you haven't stopped by to check it out, please do!!

I wanted to go for a softer look . . . so, instead of printing this digi image with black ink, I used sort of a sepia ink color. I love how it turned out!! Here's another view . . .
I made a little "Crossover" card . . . some people call it "Criss Cross" . . . other's call it a "Pocket Card" . . . I just call it FUN! I love making these! Here's a peek at the card insert . . .

Life's a Journey . . . at Sugar Nellie's!

Hey there, sweet friends!! You know how much I love my Sugar Nellie Monday, right? And I love today's Monday (hehe!) even more than usual! Why? Well . . . because I get to kick off a full 2 weeks of Sugar Nellie stamps by the amazing UK artist, Leanne Ellis! And I do love Leanne Ellis!!
So, without further ado . . . here's my new Sugar Nellie project . . .

Just "Clowning" Around!

Happpppppy Tuesday, kiddos!! I'm so excited that we are finally having some absolutely gorgeous Spring weather here in Virginia!! The grass is really greening up and before long we'll see some tulips peeking out!! Yippee!! And, of course, I'm delighted that there's another fun challenge happening over at Sassy Cheryl's Challenge Blog?!! My sweet and often "sassy" . . . and always talented . . . Miz Jackie is our hostess with the mostess this week . . . and she's chosen my best ever kind of theme . . .

ANYTHING GOES!

They're always such fun . . . and, for those of you who know me, I've never been very good at following rules! So "Anything Goes" is right up my alley!! Here's what I came up with . . . 
I think this is called a "Crossover Card" . . . and I realized I hadn't made one in a while . . . so today seemed to be the perfect opportunity!! You may, of course, recognize Sassy Sally! She's sort of a "Sassy Clown" . . . and I think she's positively adorable!! Love that hat . . . and the red nose!! Here's a close-up . . .

My "fave" color combo . . . for today!!

Hey there, sweet friends!! Just popping in to let'cha know that there's another fun challenge happening over at Mo's DP2 Challenge Blog! This week's theme is to make something using your . . .

Here's what I came up with . . .
OK . . . so, here's the deal . . . my fave color combo changes almost weekly! hehe! This week it's RED and AQUA! I think they're absolutely delicious together . . . especially with these fun DPs from October Afternoon!
This cutie patootie is called "I dunno (redux)" and I think it's the perfect Christmas card image!! You can find this sweetheart HERE in Mo Manning's online store. I decided to make a "criss cross" card since I hadn't made one of these in quite some time. I'd forgotten how much fun they are to make . . . and super duper easy!

My FIRST Post for 7 Kids...

Happy February 1st, my lovelies!! I have some very exciting news to share with you today!! I've been invited to join the fabulously talented ladies on the Design Team over at 7 Kids College Fund! How cool is that?!! Soooo...this is my very first official post for the 7 Kids College Fund Challenge! Are you ready?? Me too! So let's get started!

This fortnight's challenge theme is...

Red & Pink & White!

Kinda perfect, right? Especially since it's almost Valentine's Day! So...I decided to make a crossover card for a bit of a change of pace. They're super easy and fun to make! If you'd like to make one, you can find a fun and super simple tutorial HERE.


This card features a couple of my favorite little Magnolia stamps called "Tilda with Cute Skirt" and "Loving Border" (perfect for Valentine's Day) available HERE and HERE...along with an amazing array of stamps, papers, embellies, and all sorts of crafting and art supplies at 7 Kids College Fund online store.


I decided to use some of the fun digi papers from Bearly Mine Designs HERE. I am seriously lovin' the digi thing...because they're so easy to store! hehehe! (And my craft room is still in utter disarray...it'll be gorgeous soon, I swear!!)
