Look at me . . . I'm "Sassy" AGAIN!

Happy Tuesday my lovelies!! Guess what?? I'm "Sassy" once again!! That's right! I took a few months' leave to work on some drawing and watercolor projects . . . and I am as delighted as I can be to be back working with Sassy Cheryl and the Sassy DT ladies! I can't tell you how much I missed them all . . . not to mention my sweet little "Sassy Sally" and all her friends!! Soooooo . . . are ya ready for another fun challenge over at Sassy Cheryl's Challenge Blog? I know I am!! This week, our very talented and ever so sassy Miz Jackie is our hostess with the mostess! Wheet whew! And she's come up with this really fun sketch . . .
Pretty cool, huh? And super duper easy too! So . . . here's what I came up with . . .
Well . . . here's the deal . . . I know last week's challenge theme was "Thankfulness and/or Food" . . . but I sort of missed that one! And . . . I just couldn't NOT make a card with my fave Thanksgiving image of all time, now could I? So I decided to make a "Thank You" card for my sweet sister-in-law who hosted Thanksgiving dinner at her house this year!! This sweetheart is, of course, "Sally with her Thanksgiving Turkey." And I just checked Sassy Cheryl's store . . . this digi image is for sale HERE in the $2.00 bin!! Here's a close-up . . .
I just love Sally's expression . . . and that poor turkey! LOL! Here's a side view . . .
My card "recipe" . . .
True Thyme & More Mustard cardstock: Stampin' Up
DPs: "Sugar Hill" by Farmhouse
Square & Scallopped square dies: Spellbinders
Corner dies: Whimsy
Flower & leaves: Wild Orchid Crafts
Brads, raffia, & leaf  border stamp (inside): My stash
Sentiments: Inkadinkado (front) & Stampin' Up (inside)
Nut Brown & Autumn Flower Soft
Copic Sketch markers & various color pencils

A peek at the inside . . .
And, of course, the "artsy" view . . .
So, there ya have it! No more "Thanksgiving" cards for me this year!! From here on, I'm in full Christmas mode!! hehe! Please don't forget to pop on over to Sassy Cheryl's Challenge Blog to see what my talented DT "Sassettes" have created with Jackie's fabulous sketch! Then, we'd love for you to pull out some of your own craft supplies and at least one Sassy Cheryl image and join us for this week's challenge! Oh, and keep in mind . . .
One lucky participant, selected at random, will win . . .
TWO Sassy Cheryl Digi Images!
