Aren't they cute? I miss them already!! Okey dokey . . . back to this week's Sassy Cheryl's challenge! This week's hostess is my very clever and sassy DT sister, Linda!! She's chosen the theme . . .
"Punches &/or Dies"
That's soooooo easy . . . 'cuz I always use punches and dies when I make my cards!! Here's what I came up with . . .
This card is for our 8 year-old granddaughter, Sophia, who allowed me to accompany her to the Phoenix Art Museum when I was in AZ! She is a very talented, budding artist . . . and this was her first trip to an art museum!! I felt so delighted to share the experience with her and her momma (my daughter, Amy). Sophie was really getting into it!! By the end of the day she could tell me the difference between Impressionism and Realism . . . Portraits and Landscapes . . . and could identify paintings created using Pointillism! Here's a pic of my little muse . . .
I used one of my fave Sassy Cheryl images for Sophie's card . . . Sassy Sally!! This image is called "A No. 2 Pencil & a Dream" and is available HERE in Sassy Cheryl's online store. I actually removed the word "dream" and stamped in "Thanks" using a Stampin' Up rubber stamp. Here's a close-up . . .
And a side view . . .
A peek at the inside . . .
