Happy Thursday and welcome once again to my little corner of blogland! For those of you in America, Happy Thanksgiving. Don't be SQUARE!!

Hello there, my darlins!! Can you believe . . . it's almost December! Aaack! Where has the year gone? I have to tell ya, I've been listening to Christmas songs in my studio for the past several days . . . getting into the "holiday spirit"!! So . . . in keeping with that theme (holiday), I decided to make another Christmas card for this week's challenge at Mo's DP2 Challenge Blog where the actual challenge "theme" is . . .

"Don't be Square"
(That's right . . . NO SQUARE PROJECTS!)

And here's what I came up with . . .
This little sweetheart is called "Christmas Lhasa Apso" and can be found HERE in Mo Manning's OLD online store. I made this card for my sister, Dee. Her "baby" is a Lhasa Apso named Maggie Mae. So she wanted a card to give to her MIL with "Maggie" on the front!
I thought it would be fun to make a "shaped" easel card . . . they're always fun to receive too!! Here's another angle . . .
My "recipe" . . .
Image printed on Cryogen "metallic" cardstock
Very Vanilla and Always Artichoke cardstock: Stampin' Up
DPs: "December 25th" by Kaisercraft
Edges inked with Creamy Caramel (SU)
"Holly Motifs" Shapeabilities dies: Spellbinders

Small "Merry Christmas" stamp: SU

A peek at the back . . .
And, the ever-popular "artsy" angle . . .

Now, please be sure to pop on over to Mo's DP2 Challenge Blog HERE to check out the gorgeous projects created by my lovely and talented DT sisters! Then, please join the fun this week at Mo's DP2 Challenge Blog! Just remember to use one (or more) of Mo Manning's images (you can find them in Mo's online store HERE). "Angels we have heard on high" . . . la la la . . .

Hello my sweet sugarplums!! As I write this post, I am listening to Christmas music! Yep . . . definitely getting into the Christmas/Winter Holiday spirit early this year! Maybe because Thanksgiving here in the U.S.A. is so early! Whatever the reason, I've been jammin' to Christmas tunes all weekend!! hehe!! Today I have another fun new Sugar Nellie DT project to share with you . . . and, as luck would have it, this one's a Christmas Card!!
This cutie is "Rosie"  . . . and she's from the "Fairy Glen" collection of Sugar Nellie stamps. This stamp isn't specifically a Christmas stamp . . . it can be used for just about ANY occasion . . . but I think it works splendidly for a Christmas card, don't you agree?  You can find "Rosie" HERE at Funky Kits.

Oh, oh, oh . . . that reminds me . . . In addition to purchasing Sugar Nellie stamps at Funky Kits in Scotland, there's a new Sugar Nellie online store based in the U.S.A. Check it out HERE. Okey dokey . . . back to my little "masterpiece" . . . here's an extreme "close-up" . . .
Isn't Rosie just as cute as can be? And what a DREAM to color! Here's a sort of "side" view . . .
My card "recipe" . . .
Cranberrey Crisp & CrumbCake cardstock: Stampin' up
DPs - "Lost & Found Christmas" by My Mind's Eye
Clock die: Tim Holtz
Interior stamps: Crafty Impressions
Gold filigree corner: Wild Orchid Crafts
Pearls & pointsettia: My stash
Stardust Stickles
Copics & colored pencils

A peek at the inside . . . which includes a pocket for a gift card (requested by my sister) . . .
And, last but not least . . .
So . . . ho, ho, ho . . . one more Sugar Nellie Christmas Card to add to my ever-growing pile of Christmas cards!! Ohhhhhh . . . I almost forgot . . . I've decided to enter my card into this fortnight's Sugar Bowl Challenge where Maria Therese has created a fabulous sketch. There's also an optional theme of "Sparkle & Shine" . . . and I am guessing Mikimoto Pearls qualify, right? hehe! If not . . . then the 14 carat gold corner should count!!? Oh, alright . . . what about the Stckles? They sparkle and shine!!

OK . . . enough silliness!! Thanks so much for stopping by!! I love having you visit!! Hugs!! And, for those of you in America celebrating Thanksgiving this week . . . "Happy Turkey Day!"

AND, if that's not fabulous enough, I'll be attending my eldest son's wedding!! Hence, the reason for this week's project!
OK . . . so here's the deal . . . Andy and Heather are getting married on Saturday! It's the second marriage for each of them. And I just thought this was the perfect sentiment for them as they take their relationship to the next level!! Plus, Heather's fave color is blue!! And, my son is wearing jeans to the wedding . . . although probably not overalls! LOL! This adorable image is called "Close Your Eyes " and is available HERE at Lili of the Valley. "C" is for Christmas...and cold...and cute!

Hey there, my lovelies! As you read this I'll be in sunny Phoenix, AZ hanging out with my three sweet kids (my daughter turns 40 today! Yikes...she's OLD! LOL!!) and our 6 - that's right SIX - adorable grandkiddos!! Including little Isla Bleu, who was born in June and hasn't yet met the "grazy gramma" (yep, that's me, "crazy gramma"! Go figure! hehe!) So I'm hoping that Mr. Blogger gets this post out on time without any glitches!! Keeping my fingers crossed!

Now . . . since today is Thursday, that means it's time for another fun challenge at Mo's DP2 Challenge Blog! This week's challenge is another "alphabet" themed challenge . . .
"C is for . . ."
(so I chose Christmas, cold, and cute!)
And here's what I came up with . . .
This sweetheart is called "Ragged Angel" and is available HERE in Mo Manning's online store. Here's a peek at the little tag . . .
This card is part of a commissioned order, so if it looks a bit familiar, that's because I made a very similar looking card last year right about this time! Here's a side view . . .
And another . . .
My card "recipe" . . .

Dear Santa . . . I really CAN explain!

Hehehe!! I just love that, don't you? It seems as though I spent my childhood "explaining" to "Santa"!! OK . . . so here I am, jumping in to full Christmas mode!! And today I have a fun new Sugar Nellie DT project to share with you! And finally . . . THIS one actually IS a Christmas Card!!
This cutie patootie is a Suzanne Woolcott stamp from 2009 called "Little Miss Attitude." This isn't exactly a Christmas stamp . . . but with this sentiment, I think it totally works!! hehe! And, OH NO! I just checked and, while this stamp can normally be found HERE at Funky Kits, it's currently out of stock. (Imagine my sad face here!) No worries, though, there are plenty of fabulous rubber stamps and digi images to choose from while you're waiting for "Little Miss Attitude" to get re-stocked!! Here's a sort of "side" view . . .
I just noticed . . . those little heart hair "bobs" look a bit like DEVIL HORNS! LOL! That totally cracks me up . . . I guess I should have colored them BLUE instead of red! hehehe!
My card "recipe" . . .
Real Red cardstock & ribbon: Stampin' up
