Guest DT at The Ribbon Girl!

Whoohoo! Hey there my sweet friends!! I am just delighted to tell you that Mary & Andrea over at The Ribbon Girl Blog asked me a couple of months ago if I would consider being a Guest Designer for this month's fabulous color challenge! Well, of course, I all but tripped on my tongue saying YES!! hehehe! And here I am . . . Guest Designing for The Ribbon Girl! How awesome is that?!

 OK . . . are ya ready? This month's color theme is . . .  ta-daaaa . . .

Cool, huh?! Well, I must admit, I quickly ordered a fabulous "Aqua Mini Ribbon Kit" from The Ribbon Girl HERE (see the photo below) . . . and have had the most fun playing with all of my newly acquired "aqua" goodies! Oh, and speaking of the "Aqua Mini Ribbon Kit," that happens to be one of the prizes for this challenge! The other prize is a gift voucher to Lili of the Valley! That's right! One lucky participant, selected at random by Random.Org, will win BOTH fabulous prizes! I am pea green with envy, I tell you!

Fabulous, huh?! So, this is what I can up with . . .

This little sweetheart is called "Party Hardy" and she's the brainchild of the very talented Krista Smith of Saturated Canary. I decided to make one of these fun "shaped" cards . . . and, I tell ya, it was so simple to make . . . but makes a big statement, don'tcha think? Here's a close up . . .

I colored this cutie patootie image with my trusty Copics (no Prismacolor pencils this time . . . I was so excited about putting this card together that I just plum forgot! hehe!). Here's a side view . . .

My card "recipe" . . .
Aqua seam binding, lace, & hat pins: The Ribbon Girl

Sentiment: Stamping Bella & Lili of the Valley
Roses: Prima & Wild Orchid Crafts

Here's a peek at the inside (which, as you can see, is quite simple with a bit of space for a personal note) . . .

And, last but not least, the ever-popular "artistic" view . . .

So that's it for me!! I hope you enjoyed my GD project for The Ribbon Girl Blog Challenge # 17! Now please be sure to pop on over to The Ribbon Girl online store HERE and pick up some yummilicious ribbon and embellies . . . and then, please join the fun The Ribbon Girl Blog! Just remember to follow the Aqua & White color theme!!  Oh, oh, oh . . . and don't forget the fabulous prizes for one lucky winner!!

OK . . . what'cha waitin' for?! This is an amazing prize! And what's not to love about "playing" with Aqua & White?! Just have fun, my lovelies! Thanks so much for visiting...and, please know how very much I appreciate your sweet comments!! So, until next time . . .  Mwahhhh!!
